The LIMRiCC Board (The Library Insurance and Risk Management Control Combination) will be accepting applications for new library membership into its pool for medical and dental insurance provided by Aetna, vision insurance provided by VSP, and Basic and Voluntary Life/AD&D provided by The Hartford.
This is employer-sponsored coverage, available to public libraries only. Institutions who wish to join will have their coverage risk assessed by Aetna. Libraries that score a 1.00 or less on Aetna’s assessment tool will be eligible to join.
To apply for membership into LIMRiCC, complete the required documents below:
- Health Risk Assessment
- Complete this document to the best of your knowledge
- Employee Census – Census Template – ALL FIELDS MUST BE COMPLETED
- Complete the census, including all benefit eligible employees (even if not enrolled in coverage), retirees, and currently enrolled COBRA participants. If your library does not currently offer medical coverage and will be offering it through LIMRiCC, employee enrollments on the census should be completed to the best of your knowledge with the LIMRiCC plan(s) your library will be offering. - If your library has over 50 employees, please submit the past 24 months of historical claim information if available.
Once complete, submit these documents via email to MWIL.LIMRICC-EB@MarshMMA.com no later than February 28th, 2022. LIMRiCC cannot accept any data after February 28th, 2022.
All applicant libraries will be informed of their application status by April 15th, 2022. If, after being approved, the applicant library wishes to join LIMRiCC, confirmation is required (via email to MWIL.LIMRICC-EB@MarshMMA.com) by no later than May 13th, 2022.
